August 24, 2025 Israel hosted events dedicated to the 34th anniversary of Ukraine's Independence.
Independence Day Celebration Ukraine in Israel in 2025 has become not just a date in the calendar, but a living one a demonstration of resilience, culture and international solidarity.
Ukrainian diaspora, Israeli friends of Ukraine, cultural centers and public organizations organized concerts, exhibitions, thematic meetings and charity events. The main goal is to unite people, to remind them of the value of freedom and support Ukraine in its struggle for independence.
In Tel Aviv hosted a festive concert with the participation of Ukrainian and Israeli artists, as well as the exhibition "Ukraine in the Heart", where the works of Ukrainian artists living in Israel.
In Haifa hosted a food festival where guests could taste Traditional dishes from borscht and dumplings to homemade pies. Part of the collected funds were directed to humanitarian projects in Ukraine (support for Ukraine).
In Jerusalem hosted the action "Freedom in Flowers": residents and guests of the city decorated the central streets with blue and yellow ribbons and balloons, and also wrote postcards with words of support for the Ukrainian military and civilians.
Special this year we paid attention to children: in different cities of Israel there were master classes on Ukrainian culture, language and crafts. The organizers noted that such meetings help to preserve identity and pass it on to the next Generation.
